Travel Advisor
Traveling has always been a big part of my life from a young age traveling with my Dad each spring and summer break and all throughout my adult life with my husband, Dan. My husband and I have 2 children and will be going on year 16 of being married this August! If you ask him what I love doing the most, he will tell you traveling and planning trips. I am always looking to find destinations and showing him where we can go next! It has been so fun to experience traveling with our children now and getting to explore their firsts through their eyes. Their first time on Slinky Dog at Disney and all their belly laughs, their first time on the Icon of the Seas and all the endless fun they had in Surfside and their first time at the beach at Castaway Cay and playing in the sand are just a few of my favorite memories. I am looking forward to all of the memories that are in store when we take them on their first all inclusive vacation! The swim up kids smoothie bar at Beaches Turks and Caicos is calling their names!
Prior to becoming a Travel Advisor, I was a Kindergarten teacher and taught for 9 years. I graduated from Central Michigan University (Fire up Chips!) and then got my Masters in Special Education from the University Of Michigan. Teaching was such a rewarding part of my life where I was able to teach children how to read, write a story and learn what school was all about. Now it has become a full circle moment where my not so little Kindergarten students and their families are becoming clients and I am booking their trips! It has been equally rewarding to help create memories for all of my clients from their Honeymoons, family trips, friends trips and more!
Random facts:
-In my spare time I am volunteering and I am currently the PTA president at my kids' school.
-I love collecting ornaments for our Christmas tree on our vacations as a special memory of our trip or destination!
-Traveling to Mackinac Island has been a special and yearly trip for our family/extended family. We have been going to the island together since 2005 and have stayed at almost all of their resorts and bed and breakfasts boutiques! The Pink Pony is my absolute favorite restaurant there!
